## What this page said

Captured in late 2009, the page opened with a quotation from Herbert Benson, MD that the institute could help to the extent that a medical condition or its symptoms are caused or made worse by stress. It then listed staff in groups, beginning with the director and director emeritus and continuing with the director of clinical research, the directors of the cardiac, menopause, infertility, chronic pain, cancer, parenting, training and education programs, and staff physicians, a psychotherapist and a physical therapist, each with a short note on their role and qualifications.

Because the page is a roster of individuals, this archive does not copy it. It records that the page existed, who led the institute at the time, and where the original can be read. People who appear in the original and wish to have any related material corrected can use the contact route on the About the archive page.

## Key points from the original

- The page grouped staff by role, starting with leadership.
- Many staff held teaching appointments at Harvard Medical School.
- Individual biographies are not reproduced in this archive.

This is a historical record, not medical advice.
